Fun eNews - October 2008

Happy FALL!!!

The weather is crisp & we love it!

Tis' the season for Fun Productions to reflect on the year, start our strategic plan for next year, & see what cool new games are available that we MUST have. Please let us know if you see any games & interactives that Denver needs, we are always looking to innovate and keep our inventory fresh!

The latest addition is our new Gold Panning & Gemstone Mining Sluice. This new attraction makes a great theme presence for your Colorado or Western theme events. PLus guest will have so much fun either panning for gold or for gemstones

We are gearing up for the holidays as well. Halloween Carnivals and Fall Festivals are in full swing; and we are all ready for the weekend of Ghosts, Goblins, and little ones enjoying the FUN all over town.

All of our casino tables are being re-vamped with new layouts and pads, etc. They are looking great! Our fabulous clients are getting into the "Spirit of Innovation" also, with new Holiday entertainment ideas including Sports Bars, Arcades, GetFlipped Photo Stations & Photo Booths. These are very FUN options and/or add-ons to your casino nights and/or holiday events!

Hope to see many of you at all the most Special Events this winter!

All our best,
Tim & Dawn Abbott and the Fun Productions Team!

Get Flipped for the Holidays!!!

Your employees, families, & guests will love taking home this special memento from your holiday event. We can add all of your branding logos and text to a fun winter wonderland background. Use holiday images or how about your building lit up for the season.

The photo is animated so that the guests & graphics move. Your guests will have a great time taking two different posed photos and instantly getting FLIPPED on a magnet or luggage tag. They will want to keep these unique momentos forvever as a memory of the FUN they had at your event!

Holiday Event Ideas

The Casino is always a fabulous entertainment option for your holiday party. Guests can enjoy playing at a table even with people they don't know and have a common topic of conversation "the gaming". The latest addition to casino nights is our new video horse racing. This option gets lots of people involved in choosing and betting on their horses then watching a race on the BIG screen.

Bingo is a great way to entertain large crowds and a small addition to your budget.

Most events include guests with many different interests so we have found it is a perfect option to add some sports bar games and/or arcade games to your casino or in place of a casino night. Your guests will love being able to relax and have fun playing pool, air hockey, foosball, and video games.

One of the most popular additions to Holiday parties has been photo booths. Guests love the fun and nostalgia of stepping in the booth for some crazy photos that will print in a strip.

PLATO'S Party Planner Tip/Idea of the Month

Have you ever thought of scheduling your annual Holiday Party as a kick-off to the New Year in January or February??? There is less demand for venues, catering, entertainment and activities after January 1st. Meaning there are more choices for you and there may be more budget friendly choices as well. Your guests will appreciate having one less commitment in December & something fun to look forward to after the hustle & bustle of the Holidays!!

We can't wait to "bring on the FUN" for your next event!!!

Have some fun at work!

Monday, April 01, 2019

  1. Treat yo’ self day! Find out what would make your team feel appreciated or what is fun to them and make a day out of it.
  2. Cereal Bar! Who doesn’t like cereal? Breakfast? Cereal. Lunch? Cereal. Afternoon Snack? Cereal. Dinner? Cereal. It is inexpensive, unexpected, and surprisingly effective. If you have the means build one in, but if you don’t, just bring in a variety of cereals and milks for a day. Bonus, no one will be hangry all day!
  3. Take some time to laugh and relax! “You can learn more about a person in an hour of laughter than a year of conversation” – Plato. Seems simple enough, it’s just not always easy to find opportunities to bond, right? Around our office this means pajama day! It turns out that our boss wants to wear pajamas to work too. Get the boss on board for some fun and everyone will follow
  4. “While the cat is away, the mice will play.” This old adage is outdated, and we find bonding over the little things brings our team together. Letting people take a minute to enjoy the sunshine or tell stories and not consistently be focused on the job leads to more productivity! When you need some extra time to connect we have you covered; try www.coloradoteambuildingevents.com for fun bonding experiences from Corporate Recess to in-depth training & facilitation focused on “understanding & synchronizing your team.”
5. Serious fun! Company picnics have been our specialty for over 25 years, but why have fun just once a year? We have tons of other ways to have fun at work. Some of our favorites are mini golf in the hallway, obstacle courses in the parking lot, field day at the park, arcade games in the board room, and especially a photo booth break! Give us a call and we can come up with some custom fun for your office.

Fun at work is easy to achieve if you just make the commitment! It doesn’t have to be time consuming as all it takes is one trip to the grocery store, a calendar invite for a theme day, or a phone call/email to the Fun Pros!

(She was actually super productive this day and really excited to be at work!)
