Featured Fun Water Balloon Toss

*Sneaky Sprinkler: The 'IT' player controls the water faucet. All others play around the sprinkler (jumping, dancing, striking funny poses, etc), but must freeze when the water is turned on. The last person to move gets to be 'IT' next.

*Sponge Tag: The designated 'IT' gets to toss soaked sponges - the larger the better - hoping to tag other players. If hit, then they're 'IT'.

*Water Balloon Toss: Fill balloons with water as full as possible. Participants form 2 lines, and toss balloons back and forth between partners. Partners take a step back after each round. The last pair to burst their balloon wins!

Happy Summer!!
Here at Fun Productions we are working feverishly on our high season and it is awesome. We love being busy making smiles at picnics, teambuilding events and summer celebrations throughout Colorado.
We just finished two of our favorite fundraising events; the LLS Mile High Amazing Race and Janet's Camp benefiting the YMCA. Both were fantastic and thankfully after having some less than stellar weather in the past, we had perfect sunny summer events.
Please call and say hi and let us know how we can make your summer more FUN!!!
Stay cool and enjoy every piece of every summer moment!

All Things Theme
Craving Chaos
Obstacle Course
We are witnessing a powerful heavenly exchange this June with eclipses and the seasonal solstice creating energies of change and transformation. Step outside the usual party themes for an upcoming event, and celebrate the Chaos!
Set the scene straight from the invite: Ask each guest to arrive in VERY different attire.
In the beginning, the Earth was chaotic - wild and untamed - so have some fun with decorations! Start with laser shows, circular mazes which don't lead anywhere, and various drops throughout the event (confetti, balloons, bubbles, soap, etc...). Large mirror balls looming over the dance floor would really catch the lights and lasers! Wind machines intermittently coming on and off could amp up the theme. Throw in conflicting signs and warning/alert symbols around your chosen venue. Replace some light bulbs with red or black lights for ambiance - as well as potential activities like coloring each other in iridescent highlighter. Ask Fun Productions' to add the Black Light Mini Golf or light up Oxygen Bars!
Surprise guests with sporadic "Raids." Perhaps various gangs show up and square off - Hells Angels, Cops & Robbers, Roller Derby Teams, Cowboys & Indians, etc... The entertainment options are endless, and Fun Productions' would be happy to help! Fire dancers, costumed stilt walkers, stomp performances, human statues which randomly come to life and, of course, DJ is key!

"Thank you so much for the wonderful job Fun Productions did with the games on Friday night at the Colorado Motor Carriers Association (CMCA) convention at the Sheraton Resort in Steamboat Springs.  Our attendees absolutely loved the bull riding, calf roping, high striker and other games.

Tanner did an excellent job getting everything setup on time and the event went very, very smoothly.  Your professionalism is truly an asset to the entertainment industry. I look forward to future opportunities to work together. " - JoLane Hochstetler,  President (Independent Contractor for CMCA)

Have some fun at work!

Monday, April 01, 2019

  1. Treat yo’ self day! Find out what would make your team feel appreciated or what is fun to them and make a day out of it.
  2. Cereal Bar! Who doesn’t like cereal? Breakfast? Cereal. Lunch? Cereal. Afternoon Snack? Cereal. Dinner? Cereal. It is inexpensive, unexpected, and surprisingly effective. If you have the means build one in, but if you don’t, just bring in a variety of cereals and milks for a day. Bonus, no one will be hangry all day!
  3. Take some time to laugh and relax! “You can learn more about a person in an hour of laughter than a year of conversation” – Plato. Seems simple enough, it’s just not always easy to find opportunities to bond, right? Around our office this means pajama day! It turns out that our boss wants to wear pajamas to work too. Get the boss on board for some fun and everyone will follow
  4. “While the cat is away, the mice will play.” This old adage is outdated, and we find bonding over the little things brings our team together. Letting people take a minute to enjoy the sunshine or tell stories and not consistently be focused on the job leads to more productivity! When you need some extra time to connect we have you covered; try www.coloradoteambuildingevents.com for fun bonding experiences from Corporate Recess to in-depth training & facilitation focused on “understanding & synchronizing your team.”
5. Serious fun! Company picnics have been our specialty for over 25 years, but why have fun just once a year? We have tons of other ways to have fun at work. Some of our favorites are mini golf in the hallway, obstacle courses in the parking lot, field day at the park, arcade games in the board room, and especially a photo booth break! Give us a call and we can come up with some custom fun for your office.

Fun at work is easy to achieve if you just make the commitment! It doesn’t have to be time consuming as all it takes is one trip to the grocery store, a calendar invite for a theme day, or a phone call/email to the Fun Pros!

(She was actually super productive this day and really excited to be at work!)
