All Things Theme: Buffett Bash
Send invitations as a message in a bottle which invite your favorite "Parrotheads" to Margaritaville in casual beach attire. For family friendly affairs be sure to include the parakeets!

Set up at the beach or create the illusion in your own backyard with kiddie pools, lawn chairs, Cruisers leaned against walls and hurricane lamp lit walkways. Throw in some pink flamingos, and tack Hawaiian shirts to your table bases for effect. Welcome guests with Leis at the door, and s
et all clocks to 5pm. Include blender stations, buckets of Coronas and drink umbrellas at your Cantina - as well as a fishbowl for car keys. Fun Productions can provide the Margarita Machine, Sno Cones and Beer Pong! Put a pig on the spit, prep some Cheeseburger sliders, and take advantage of the perfect opportunity to grill out. With nearly 50yrs of music, Jimmy Buffett tunes could be the entire soundtrack for such an event. Take the tunes one step further by projecting Buffett concerts on a wall or building.

Award appropriate door prizes (beach towels, shooters, sunscreen, shades, flip flops, eye patches, etc) for the best dressed or tackiest tourist. Create a cooler race track. Fun Productions has the Limbo, Horseshoes, Corn Hole, Ladderball, Volleyball and other casual lawn games. Keep the kids busy with arts & crafts like Sand Art, Sandy Candy and Lei Making. Everyone may enjoy painting Frisbees with our Double Spin Art. Include WOW factors like RoboSurfboard, Giant Wave Slide, Tiki Island or a Dunk Tank. Hire Stilt Walkers, Tattoo Artists, Balloon Artists, Hula Dancers, or Massage Therapists for guests to enjoy while lounging in lawn chairs. Fun Pro will set up  Karaoke, or try the Beat Box Video Karaoke Booth from our sister-company VIE Events. Other high tech options from VIE include Green Screen Photography and Oxygen Bars  - to create a "change of latitude, change of attitude"!

Welcome summer!!!  We are hopping busy and glad to be running around Colorado as the FUN part of so many great events!

In light of the recent inflatable accident in Colorado, Fun Productions would like to comment on safety and inflatable operations.  For the last 14 years Fun Productions has been setting up over 1000 events per year with inflatables and we have never (thank God and knock on wood) had any type of tragic accident like what happened last week occur on any of our event sites.  We are all so horrified and upset by the fact that fly by night companies continue to not take safety seriously.  Fun Productions exceeds all manufacturers suggested anchoring guidelines and weighting recommendations.  The other policy that we have at Fun Productions is to require all of our inflatables to be rented with staff.  Staff stay with the units to ensure that rules are being followed, weather is monitored, staking and weighting are checked, and they maintain an overall safe environment that allows our guests to continue to enjoy their event and not be faced with any unforeseen tragedies.  I cannot stress enough how important it is for clients who want to have inflatables at their events to do the proper checking and ask the right questions before hiring a service provider.  There should never be an inflatable installed without stakes and/or weights and under no condition should you be told that it is not needed.  You should ask about safety records and maintenance logs, staffing, and insurance.  It is frustrating for us that customers will often put themselves, their guests and children at risk to save money.  I would absolutely prefer fewer inflatables get rented than to ever see any be blown up unsafely.  We would like to thank our thousands of amazing clients for all of your support and loyalty over the years that have allowed us to operate a fun and safe event company.

Please let us know how we can bring more FUN into your world!!

Sincerely,

Dawn Abbott

Have some fun at work!

Monday, April 01, 2019

  1. Treat yo’ self day! Find out what would make your team feel appreciated or what is fun to them and make a day out of it.
  2. Cereal Bar! Who doesn’t like cereal? Breakfast? Cereal. Lunch? Cereal. Afternoon Snack? Cereal. Dinner? Cereal. It is inexpensive, unexpected, and surprisingly effective. If you have the means build one in, but if you don’t, just bring in a variety of cereals and milks for a day. Bonus, no one will be hangry all day!
  3. Take some time to laugh and relax! “You can learn more about a person in an hour of laughter than a year of conversation” – Plato. Seems simple enough, it’s just not always easy to find opportunities to bond, right? Around our office this means pajama day! It turns out that our boss wants to wear pajamas to work too. Get the boss on board for some fun and everyone will follow
  4. “While the cat is away, the mice will play.” This old adage is outdated, and we find bonding over the little things brings our team together. Letting people take a minute to enjoy the sunshine or tell stories and not consistently be focused on the job leads to more productivity! When you need some extra time to connect we have you covered; try www.coloradoteambuildingevents.com for fun bonding experiences from Corporate Recess to in-depth training & facilitation focused on “understanding & synchronizing your team.”
5. Serious fun! Company picnics have been our specialty for over 25 years, but why have fun just once a year? We have tons of other ways to have fun at work. Some of our favorites are mini golf in the hallway, obstacle courses in the parking lot, field day at the park, arcade games in the board room, and especially a photo booth break! Give us a call and we can come up with some custom fun for your office.

Fun at work is easy to achieve if you just make the commitment! It doesn’t have to be time consuming as all it takes is one trip to the grocery store, a calendar invite for a theme day, or a phone call/email to the Fun Pros!

(She was actually super productive this day and really excited to be at work!)
