Field of Dreams @ Coor’s Field
Your adventure will unfold at the beautiful Coor’s Field. The field is wonderfully situated in Lower Downtown Denver and is truly a magical place for your teambuilding adventure.
Our mayor, John Hickenlooper, has hatched a grandiose plan. Hick is so thrilled with the amazing Coor’s Field that he wants to start a new Winter Baseball League (WBL) to take full advantage of the field in the off season.
“Welcome to the Pros”! That is what you’ll be hearing if your team can work together to overcome some of the ingenious challenges Hick has devised to select the best team. Your group will represent the league vying for this coveted slot at Coor’s Field. Each challenge is designed to make your team think and interact with one another in entirely unique and fun ways, while utilizing the incredible setting of Coor’s Field as a backdrop.
Each challenge can be customized for your group, based on their demographic profiles or to meet specific goals. Most of the challenges for the Baseball fantasy are outlined below. In a typical teambuilding day, groups choose challenges to accomplish. We can certainly help you make those choices or we can always customize a program to meet your goals.
Concessionaire Race: Teammates put on your vending gear and start hawking your wares.
Speed Pitch: Go ahead, blast a fastball into the outfield! We’ll use a high tech radar system that will measure the ball’s speed. Your team’s speed will be averaged to determine the winner.
Batter’s Up: The pitching machine throws ping-pong size balls and the batter attempts to SWAT them with a “to scale” stickball bat.
Fly Ball: Your team must construct a trolley system to send baseballs whizzing down a zip line safely to the bottom. Teams must think and problem solve together since there are no directions and a limited number of supplies.
Ball Delivery System: There is no “I” in team. This game proves it. Teams must strap on a set of wacky, curvy tubes and transport baseballs from one teammate to another. The teammates will need to contort their bodies in various positions to keep the ball rolling. Individuals will need to work together and check their shyness at the door in this hilarious team game.
Team Branding: Your new team needs a name, logo, and cheer if it’s going to make it to the “Pros.” Using supplies provided your team will choose a name and create a logo for it. You’ll have to present your concept, along with the team cheer, to a panel of judges. They are looking for creativity, humor, & aesthetic appeal.
Talent Scout: Your team is armed with Polaroid cameras and a list of problems and photo challenges. These challenges must be completed in a given period of time. There is no better way to get a whirlwind tour of all the cool stuff at Coor’s Field.
Baseball Trivia: Using the latest Game show system including digital podiums, projector and screen, teams will compete in the ultimate Baseball Bowl.
Uniform Mania: Each team will be given clues and a handheld GPS system to go on the ultimate Scavenger Hunt. When each challenge is completed the team will be rewarded with items to create their new team uniform. Our “commissioner” will then judge the uniforms
